Fall colors

Leaving school one afternoon I couldn't help myself, but had to capture the colors that met me when I left the building.

Frost adorned meadow

This is the first image I captured when we arrived at Fjorda. Such captivating beauty!

In the vicinity of Vøringsfossen

Driving down from Hardangervidda on the western edge. Have just passed one of Norway's most famous waterfalls; Vøringsfossen. Tunnels are plenty in this part of Norway.

Palms - Villa Malla

Great was my surprise when I found palms alongside Oslofjorden. It felt like I was in a different part of the globe.

Captured from the canoe. It is about nine in the morning, and some cabins were hid in the frost smoke.

Captured around 9 in the morning the day after we had our first snowfall one of the last days in October. Again I am just outside the school.

The colors are mesmerizing. The center of Hønefoss is ahead of us and the municipal building and the school where I work are behind us. 

Towards Gyrihaugen

While following the path towards Gyrihuagen, which offers a breathtaking view over the district, I captured this fluffy scene.

The sky was "on fire" from school to home. Stunningly beautiful!

We still hadn't gone into the canoes paddling our way to the camp of the pupils and I was all over the place capturing those breathtaking scenes that manifested that morning.

Schjongstangen

Captured in the end of August. In front of us is Hønefoss. Many of the city's sports facilities are found in the area where I am standing.

Garntangen

A ten minutes drive from home there is a fast food joint that is located by the highway towards Oslo which offers great burgers and soft ice. This is one of the many scenes upon which you can rest your eyes while enjoying the food.

Jetty

Found this jetty at Fjorda and was able to fumble the canoe in such a position that I could capture it from this angle and thus creating a vanishing point. Besides that, the image is quite idyllic.
